Gospel X (2019)
Gospel X was later as a Christmas single Lilou wanted to release in 2019. The song was intended as B-side but ended up as the only track.
The song had premier on streaming service Liberplay a week before Christmas 2019. the band wanted to create a Christian Christmas song where Santa had been replaced by Jesus.
The song was called “a classic in the making” by Swedish podcast host Magnus Söderman and renowned writer Fnordspotting simply wrote “Lilou & John are back!” Shortly after the release, Danish podcast host Mazzy called the duo “the musical scourge of political correctness” and journalist Ingrid Carlqvist called it “a new Christmas gospel”.
